Cold process soap

We produce our soaps by cold saponification, which serves to preserve the plants’ beneficial qualities and gives the soap its nourishing, hydrating properties. To protect the environment, they are manufactured without palm oil using blends of plant oils and essential oils, which form the base of the soap and give it its fragrance. Our soaps are lipid-enriched with a fat content of 8 to 10%. With the exception of the water and lye needed for the saponification process, and the clays, all of our raw materials are organic.

Cold Saponified Soaps

Taking care of all skin types and satisfying all their needs? This is the objective we have set, by imagining a range of cold process soaps with natural virtues for the skin, and still in the Love of nature and our planet.

A handcrafted production

They are gentle for the skin, hair… and the environment! Our cold process soaps are lovingly handcrafted in our soap factory in the south-west of France. It is through the process of cold saponification that we make our beautiful soaps scented with essential oils. This ancestral manufacturing method consists of mixing a fatty substance (vegetable oils) with an alkaline substance (soda diluted in water) in order to obtain a delicate soap for the skin. This method enables us to preserve all the benefits and virtues of vegetable and essential oils and other natural active ingredients that we use to make our soaps, such as honey, aloe vera, goat’s milk, sheep’s milk or donkey’s milk and clays . All our raw materials are organic and we favour local sourcing whenever it is possible. It is important to us to work with neighbouring companies. Honey, donkey’s milk, goat’s milk and sheep’s milk are supplied to us by farmers in our department or neighbouring departments (departments are like counties in England) . And the pretty labels on our soaps are printed by a company 10 minutes from the soap factory!

Gentle soaps for all skin types

Each skin type is represented in our range of cold process soaps. Dry, fragile, normal, mature, irritated, mixed or oily skin will find what they need in our range of coloured soaps. For dry, fragile or mature skin, a range of very gentle soaps offers to pamper your skin and wrap it in a protective and nourishing lipid film. Secret d’Argan, Enchanted Forest, Tout Doux, Calendula, Chèvrissime, Goat milk & sea salt , goat milk & agrum, Goat milk & neutral, Milky way, Delicate donkey milk, and Aloe nectar are specially formulated to take care of fragile skin to stay soft and supple. Very practical to carry, and in addition to offering pretty bright colours, they are ecological, economical and zero waste! Eco-friendly? More than being made with a traditional process, our soaps do not contain any petrochemicals that are extremely polluting for the earth and water. Moreover, they do not contain an excessive amount of water (80%) like a liquid shower gel. Economical ? After manufacturing, our soaps are sent to a drying cure of at least 8 weeks to have a more advantageous durability than a classic shower gel. Zero waste ? No more polluting plastic packaging, our soaps have a simple recyclable paper label. A simple and effective way to reconnect with nature. “Nature always does, according to the conditions at her disposal and as far as possible, the most beautiful and best things. Aristotle
